Will Alpine CDA 9884 control my iPod, XM unit and give me ability to upgrade to hd radio?

I am buying an Alpine CDA-9884 unit. Will this radio allow me to control a) my iPod, b) by XM mini tuner (with the xm direct 2 alpine kit) and c) allow me to upgrade to an HD radio tuner when I am ready? In looking at pictures of the back of the deck, I don’t see enough inputs. I drive about 40,000 miles a year and am hoping this deck will be the last one I buy for awhile and would like to reduce the clutter in my car. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Yes it will let you control all of the items listed with the optional accessories.
KCA-SC100 interface for your XM radio and the TUA-T500HD for the HD radio upgrade.
And the radio should come with the cable for your I-pod (which allows full control of the I-pod from the radio) especially if you buy your radio from crutchfield.
Here’s a link to the radio on there website,when you get there you should see a spot to enter your vehicle information.
You may want to do that to make sure it will fit.
