  It might depending on where the radio is located. HD Radio is really just better sound quility FM To CD Like Quility and AM To FM Quility

  No I think HD is similar to sattelite radio. With an HD receiver you should be able to pick up those stations good but regular stations signals will be picked up according to the area you live in.

  yeah those same old local stations will pick up more clearly, but just get satellite radio if you want to hear radio without commercials. it’s pretty cheap if you think about it and get a good deal.

  No, the signal strength is the same.
  Instead of broadcasting an analog signal, the stations
  are sending out a digital signal…

  But with Digital.. if you can receive the station it will come
  in crystal clear.. EIther you can hear it or not..
  There is no bad signals..
  It’s a signal.. or no signal..

  The Effective Radiated Power (ERP) of an FM HD station is approximately 1/10 that of it’s analog counterpart.
  It will give you better fidelity until you get past the point of reception. Then it simply goes away. No signal.

  The analog FM will give you more distance and will provide a better signal in a city because of signal bounce from buildings, bridges, etc. The digital signal will not.

  As long as you are within line of sight of the tower (antenna), the HD radio will be better… If not, then the analog FM will be a better bet. You might try a loop antenna in your office to improve the signal.
