smart guy asked:
I’ve heard a lot about both on the radio, and I want to know what the difference between them is, (ex: Do you have to subscribe to HD radio when you buy one, or do just have to buy one, and you don’t have to buy any subscriptions for it,) what kinds of stations you can get with an HD radio or satellite radio, and, most importantly, how much does an HD radio cost, and how much does a satellite radio cost? (from cheapest to most expensive.)
Also, does anyone know how much an HD radio costs? (from cheapest to most expensive.)

Once you buy the HD receiver, it’s free. The channels are there between regular channels. I don’t think there are nearly as many as there are via satellite radio.
HD means High Definitiion, better than just radio. Satellite is better in my opinion.
With satellite radio you buy the radio. They have many different types pricing ranging from $40 - $250 all depending on what features you want and what satellite radio provider you go with. The two providers XM and Sirius are both the same price as far as subscription cost. You pay less if you prepay for 6 months or a year. If you go to their websites you can see the different channels they offer. I have XM and they offer over 200 channels.
