However HD will support one or more additional channels of programming. So HD2 could be part of a national program syndicate, much like NBC or CBS television has a station in every market. This is not prohibited by law and is an area where HD station owners have not explored.  Most decisions like this are economic, if the syndicator would pay-for-play, then it could happen.</description>
