XM is 13 bucks a month and has over 100 channels of talk and commercial free music, HD radio is your regular FM stations offering 2 or 3 extra feeds (and some FM stations don’t even broadcast in HD or have extra feeds) and the only cost involved is the radio
2 Responses on What is the difference between HD radio and XM (satellite) radio?
XM is satellite and costs money. HD is terrestrial (meaning, it uses antenna towers and radio waves). HD is also free.
Both are digital, and advertise CD quality sound.
